About

Originally created by Austin artist Carrie Moschitto for the 2009 Houston Art Car Parade, in 2010, it found its way to Perri and back to Houston, where it continues to evolve as a fully roadworthy daily driver with reinforced suspension and structural upgrades, shaped in part by a longtime connection to glass and mosaic art.

It has earned multiple awards in the Houston Art Car Parade and continues to appear at festivals, parades, and events where joy is highly encouraged.

FAQ

Is that... glass?

Yes. Real stained glass. Each piece was individually cut and filed smooth before being permanently adhered to the body. The roof spines are mirrored glass built as triangular and pyramid structures.

What’s holding it on?

The glass is secured using heavy-duty, all-weather adhesive and finished with grout to create the illusion of classic lead lines. It’s built to withstand sun, rain, and parade routes.

What’s under all that glass?

A 1995 Nissan Sentra 4-door sedan. Fully roadworthy. Fully licensed. Not an actual dinosaur.
